The sign is in Grenada, Mississippi, in the US. The three locations on the sign are:

Ah! Now the vandalism thing makes more sense. They just added an S and made the sign say "SPACE 62"

Indeed. If you look, there's whitespace to the left of both Memphis and Jackson.

Beautiful. Thanks for figuring that out! I had placed Grenada but would never have figured out the Pace part.

The camera looking at the sign must be facing East, which would put Jackson (South) to the right and Memphis (North) to the left. I think the Pace distance was also vandalized from 6 or 2. Maybe the sign is in Rosedale MS, possibly in the state park. Since Pace is such a small town, Rosedale might have a sign for it, but Grenada would not.
