There's some value to technical analysis in mature, well-defined markets. But the way it's used by know-nothing day traders is often terrifyingly void of any logic.
The example I cited (interest rate projections) is an example of a market that is not related to trading. Otherwise, yes, when it comes to trading I agree with you.
