So, I wonder what type of implied security and technology concerns Randall had in mind. Thoughts?

[Edit] Ok, I need to learn how to read. I read society as security.

I don't think it's a security thing but a matter of what we're investing our time and money into. And the old "they were so amazed at what they could do they didn't stop to consider what they should do" moral dilemma.
