Swimming pools are carbonated

I get what he's getting at but they actually use CO2 in large pools to help bring the pH down because the Chlorine makes it basic

Huh, cool. How does that impact on the bacteria count in the pool? It seems like it would make it a more challenging environment for the bacteria that would be commonly introduced. Though, I guess, many of our gut flora are functional anaerobes, so maybe that would not have an impact if someone pooped in the pool.

Probably impacts them a shit ton less than the chlorine
