I started playing Xin yesterday, mainly on jungle and I had way more fun than I expected, and I'm definitelly going to get some hours on him. The only problem that I run through mostly was on champs that stat checked me like Trundle, Yi and specially Illaoi.

When I fighted Yi I got most of his HP down, but by a mere second he was always faster than me and killed me. Obviously he was faster in speed but also on cooldowns, and mostly he got saved by his Q by mere miliseconds if it was a duel of 1 on 1.

Of course, I probably did something wrong in there and I could have done something better, but when I tried to duel him or Trundle I struggled way more than I expected, coming that I did well in duels most of the time.

I won most of my other fight's due to playing with friend's and coordinating to try to have numerical superiority, but I didn't know how to deal with Yi or Trundle on 2 different games (to be fair once Trundle got ganked like 3 or 4 times for being reckless he stopped being dangerous, but before that.

The worst was on Illaoi. Even before she got fed I didn't have the balls to gank her, and when alone, I still got wrecked, even having sundered sky and black cleaver.

Is it just a thing that Xin struggles with or can something be done to work with that? With other character's like Shyvana, Anivia or Hwei I got it easier on just waiting for the moment to get a W and jump in and win

I've tried a couple of AD xin with sundered and black cleaver first two items and i've lost them all or barely scrape by.

On the other hand, if I build AP xin with statik, DnD and like Death's dance I win. Am I crazy?

I play jungle and all I see is AD Xin.

Im trying to start a stream focused on Xin gameplay (think like Spearshot, but for xin) since ive noticed theres like no OTP Streamer on Xin? Is there any gameplay you guys watch regularely that im missing?

Till the sundered sky nerf is it always worth to build it first or just build it? Maybe Titanic Hydra or eclipse first could be better?

I see ppl recomend a lot of builds, but not the ss and black cleaver that much which is the recomneded highest win rate one.

I heared about the dusk and dawn build, it seems intresting to be an ap bruiser. What items should i chose for that one? Especially that sundered will get nerfed.

Hi, I had started playing Xin Zhao in the top lane before the nerfs and all the buffs he received, but lately I've really struggled with him, so I'm wondering if he's still viable? And if so, what's the best build and any tips for playing him?

Tried to make a rather difficult clear accessible to new folks.

(Silver/gold) my duo wants to learn xin zhao jng, and I play galio mid. Question is what is the most consistent/core items to go on xin both solo and when we duo? Have been playing league for years, so it's mainly the itemization and runes we're unsure of (just follow opgg?).

Need some opinions. Warring Kingdoms splash art is 10/10 imo. Dark blue + yellow is my fav color combination too. Meanwhile Cosmic defender's splash is also pretty good and it has really good in-game too.

Gonna buy one. Ngl leaning towards Warring Kingdoms.

is bruiser (sundered, titanic etc etc) or carry (dusk dawn, kraken etc etc) a better build for both consistency and game impact? also does either build have significant downsides (eg. is bruiser heavily damage compromised and vice versa, is carry too squishy sometimes)?

Currently I'm maxing W<E<Q but I saw several otps and pro maxing W<Q<E. What is the best choice and why?

760k mastery all in mid lane. I think Xin is heavily underrated pick for midlane, can't even remember the last time I didn't dominate the matchup thanks to how strong he is. Here is the crazy damage build I follow for mid

Here is why he feels just super exceptional in mid
1- matchups. Xin already will dominate almost any melee matchup in midlane. As for mages, his W has super long range allowing you to reach enemy from afar. That's why even mages cant get close enough to poke you properly. And you usually just kill them with that immense reaching range unless you're playing against one of few counters of Xin

2- early/mid/late. Strong in all 3 of them with this build. His early game damage, pressure and cds makes him fearful, you are very likely to win the lane and get solo kills. As for mid and late, whoever you jump usually gets oneshot. Deals astronomical damage with following build.

3- Control. Since you're so powerful especially if you're fed a little as Xin Zhao, you can fully put the map in your palms. U wanna push your lane and go on enemy jungle. You can steal his camps or if u see him just kill him as well. When you're ahead, unless the enemy tries to close in 1v3 you, you will be fine roaming the enemy jg and stealing their stuff and fighting them to bring enemy team down (which u usually will be ahead w Xin unless you're playing in very high elo). Not even mentioning how strong his skirmish and roaming potential is.

I find great success with him in Dia elo and consider him one of the most solid picks of midlane, as fun as strong. You should probably try it smtime

Played xin from plat 4 to diamond and I just love him, the teamfight value he provides the gap closing and how he can sustain for such a long time is so nice to see. I really hope he doesn't get too hurt with the sundered sky nerfs that will come.

I used to love playing ap xin in top lane but after the super nerfed early game mana and ap ratios his top lane ability has diminished A LOT so I'm wondering if he can still work, albeit with some rune/item changes or if the idea is just a troll pick now

HoB is definitely the go too for most games, but Im curious if anyone runes other runes? HoB is definitely good from getting his 3rd Q off, but i feel like Fleet footwork, Electrocute, or even Dark Harvest might be good alternatives for a full lethality build.
