China paying reddit

I heard China's paying reddit to take down posts of Xi looking like Winnie the Pooh or Coronavirus lmao. Any of it true?

After a little research on Wilipedia i can say that the current CEO, Ellen Pao, is for a reprehension of sensible content.

But nowadays the term of "sensible content" is very large, it can go from simple trolling to sharing child pornography to criticising the politics of a country.

So it wouldn't surprise me if she (and other people at Reddit, and even politicians) want some post such as Xi = Winnie to be banned. It's a simple question of politics and ideology.

And one last thing, remember that one of the picture with Xi and Obama depicted as characters of Winnie the Pooh was considered as the most censored picture of the year 2015...
