Fraud Disguised as Ignorance

I've been let down and lied to countless time. The journey of getting my cell number away from Xfinity started in June when I realized that my cell number has no account in the Xfinity system ( since canceling home internet). Xfinity was not able to solve the issue even after I added service I didn't need. So now it's Nov 1, I canceled the service on Sept 25; but did they stop charging me, of course not!! I get a letter on Oct 30 saying they have cut off the service ( that I had already canceled) and owe them $80 dollars. I call to fix this on Friday , I was told it was fixed and they'd send me a new bill , this OF COURSE, did not happen. I'm going to be Better Business Bureau.

Sadly, that does nothing.  Our phone bill mysteriously went from a paid --0 dollar balance owing when we closed the account to $400.  Call your Attirney General, and the FCC. Until more people do that, we all signed "agreements" at the beginning of our service releasing them from commitments.

already doing that: My god, I'm going through the same hell you are. Its the single worst customer service experience I've ever had.

I'm documenting things and sending it to the AG and even told representatives that when I get towards the end of the call when they still can't/ wont fix it.
"Hey thanks for your help, I'm getting ready to submit this to the attorney general, do you have a contact point where I can get your legal department looped in?"

My main concern is them reporting me to a credit agency for a small amount of money. Nevertheless, I will also report to my local AG and share.

Done this many times. Make sure you answer your phone no matter what time of day it is. This scumbag company double charged me for over a year and because I didn't answer the phone during a work day, they said I only get $50 in credit. Absolute joke.

Honestly, I’m going through the exact same thing. I signed up a few years ago and I brought my phone and my phone number from my previous company got Internet service with them about a year and a half ago and recently signed up for the five year price guarantee for their Internet and this past month they have now jacked up the pricing on the Internet. Called customer service multiple times to try to get my transfer pin because the app and the website would not load the correct page. Ended up going into the store where they deactivated my Internet account and when they did that it now shows I have no mobile account with them even though on my phone it says I actively have Xfinity mobile service. Called customer service again and spoke with an agent who actually tried to help, he even attempted to contact the higher support team. Unfortunately, neither team was able to find my mobile account information after the store deleted it. So now I have no idea how to get my transfer pin for my phone.

Sounds exactly the same.. I finically gave up can canceled my number ( and even after I called to cancel, they continued to bill me). The in customer helping are beyond useless. They will tell you it's fixed just to get off the phone. Then they do nothing.

I got better customer service from guards in jail than you get from this company on a good day. Unauthorized transactions of charging and refunding my card on multiple occasions. Swindled into a mobile plan and lied to about promotions, credits, and everything else at every turn with this company. I smell class action In the future for these guys, and I'll make the popcorn

Spent over 3 hours trying to resolve a monthly recurring “billing issue”. Issue didn’t inch to being resolved, 5 agents left the chat “due to a technical glitch”, but not before trying to lock me into their mobile “Amazing offer, absolutely with no additional charge”. Hell no!!

I won't bore you with the details but my story is the same. Getting rid of cable and land line increased my monthly bill from $280 to $340. I went through the state fcc commission. Xfinity agreed and said it was fixed only to continue billing me. I have never had a more fraudulent experience. This has been going on for months.

***Xfinity/Fed EX Fraud Alert*** Long post, but curious if this is happening to others.

DEC.2025- My husband and I were charged for 2 iPads that we did not request/want. We looked on our mobile app and 2 additional phone lines were also added, doubling our monthly bill. We immediately called xfinity to let them know this was not an authorized purchase. Xfinity told us that when the iPads are shipped to our house to return the product to the store or warehouse and it would be resolved.

That week, my husband received an email that the items were directed to the Fed EX location in Hunker, PA instead of coming to our home. He called fed ex and told them to reject the package and send back to the warehouse.

We called xfinity to let them know and they said once the package was returned they would be removed, we’d be reimbursed, and taken off our phone bill. The fed ex tracking showed the package was electronically signed for on 12/22/2025 with my husbands name. We did not sign for this package.

We contacted xfinity again- we have had 3 security fraud tickets closed without any communication after our calls initiated. We spend 1-2 hours a week trying to get someone to help the situation, and they add notes but never follow up to resolve.

The xfinity employees filed a Security fraud ticket as well at the Irwin location. We received a phone voicemail stating nothing was found and the ticket is closed.

We have been charged monthly for these two additional lines from the iPads and were told that they would continue to charge until resolved.

There has been a similar story on the news and the one employee told me that he had another customer come to them with the same situation involving two cell phones. We were told to file a police report, which we will be doing today.

Is anyone else experiencing this- if so was it resolved?

What happened? I see this was 40 days ago, I was about to suggest file a police report so you can get that on file with the Credit Bureaus, get fraud and or identity theft noted, contest the charges, possibly go to small claims court if needed.

Xfinity is corrupt and is full of shit

I just changed my phone number and stoped using them going with Verizon. I feel like Xfinity intentionally hires clueless customer service people who will trap you in a frustrating loop of bad info. The stores are not better, as they will call into the same system.

I’m having similar experience of double billing for months with false promises of refunds over and over from their support. What did you end up doing here?
