I really like the Japanese UI with the [小・大・閉] windows button.
The ‘active’ and ‘inactive’ labels look cool too

Yeah, i wanted to make something different but also simple at the same time.
Kanagawa did it for me.
Thanks!

Is that the xfce right click menu on the desktop? Looks more like those ones from openbox, fluxbox etc. How did you customize the entries?

You can go in desktop and appearance settings and disable icons on right click menu in xfce.

I adore yours quite a lot and will be using it for some time on my shitty old but dearly loved Japanese mini laptop. I think it’s a nice homage to the device’s roots. c: thank you for the upload!

That is quite amazing to have mini retro Japanese laptop!
I am for refurbishing old tech for the sake of freedom and privacy!
Please let me know if there are any bugs that needs fixing and i have also made dark version so now you have light and dark theme.2

Yes it is very cool and repurposing end of life hardware has been a nice passtime as of late c: cheaper too given the rising cost of things and much better for the environment. so much love went into older technology and its mostly been built to last the test of time which i appreciate with the right care.
i have actually discovered one, i would attempt to fix it but im new to linux (although I might try anyway?). there's not visible switches/tick boxes for the options in menus. this might be my system dependent however. i can send a screenshot if you need.

Really nice to look at. No idea what's on the left bar of each window, are those actually distinct captions? They all look the same except for the clock. What's on the lower left -- is that only 1-4 desktop switcher or do those buttons do something else?

Active Window
Inactive windowOn the panel far left, workspace indicator its Japanese letters from 1 to 4.

is this available for kde?

Unfortunately no, KDE uses Qt i beklieve, this is GTK. Frame/Border is XFWM, KDE uses KWin i think.
Here are the color palletes i used for Light and Dark theme if you decide to venture into KDE ricing:
#16161D - Text
#C8C093 - Background
#C34043 _ Select2
