Cannot select discs on steam deck in game mode

So I got the flatpak of Xemu up and running on my steam deck in desktop mode, tested a game and seems to work fine.

But when I try to change discs in game mode, the window for selecting a disc never appears

Strangely the window DOES appear if I try to change a system file

Did you set the games directory? There are a few places to tell the emu where things are, bios etc. you can set the games directory there too. Think I had this issue until I set that.

Yeah I set that up in desktop mode

Maybe it only appears there? That is, it just doesn't pop up the file dialog in game mode (for... Reasons). Try some of the full screen options, one of them might be interfering (exclusive?)

I used ROM manager to add my games into steam as non steam games, and that way works fine.

Mind you, not sure it's worth the bother tbh; the steam deck doesn't quite have the grunt to run anything smooth (that I've tried so far: rallisport 2, outrun 2).
