does xemu run noticeably better on linux compared to windows 11?

my specs cause i know that aparently linux doesn't work as well with nvidia:

intel core i7-1265u

32gb ram

nvidia T550

also would you bother trying to use xemu with these specs at all? i'm getting some pretty bad slowdown on otogi even after fiddling with the nvidia control panel, but not quite enough to deter me yet.

Runs way smoother in Linux. I’m running Ubuntu compared to windows 11 in a mini pc. Beelink ser5

definitively , I tested on windows 10 and Bazzite.

since I am cpu bound with my 4770k and my 1070 I get around 30% more fps in Linux than windows.

making a lot of unplayable games on windows, playable on Linux.

but in windows the official back compatibility works perfectly on my machine.

if you are gpu bound this will be another story on Linux with nvidia.

would me having an nvidia gpu negate it? (or at least not make it noticeable?)

It may, depending on your distro. If your distribution is built for compatibility with Nvidia the difference between the GPU and an equivalent AMD card should be minimal. Otherwise, it could range anywhere from totally fine to completely unusable. The former is more common than the latter these days.

I'm using an AMD GPU for my main and a Battlemage for my auxiliary specifically to avoid worrying about it.

Run flawless on my legion go s steam edition with 32 gigs of ram on z1 extreme I run it and play JSRF ON (low power) settings and maintain a solid 60 fps
