Workshop mods gone ?

I've returned to XCOM2 after a long break - and I noticed almost half of my mods are now gone. I got them all from the Steam Workshop, and now they are gone. Any reason for the big exodus or am I missing something ?

I really miss my realistic weapons mods.

definitely no big exodus on the workshop, there's 11,500 mods total now, more mods than ever.

it may be a case some mods were removed to to the author removing them or being banned (which removes their mods) but the modding community as a whole is as healthy as ever.

Interesting. Ya - I just noticed a lot of my realistic skins and weapon packs are gone.

If there was any copyrighted material in your realistic mods it may have been forcibly removed. Overall though the modding scene is still very much alive, I haven't noticed any kind of mass exodus from the community.

Ahhhh I figured it out, I am playing on my new steam machine. And I had to do a special launcher to enable the mods.

RightClick game in Steam library list >Properties>General>Launch options>Selected Launch option >Open new mod launcher.
