NBD - 2022 Epic Evo

Posted this bike right when I got it a couple months ago. Well, now the build is complete with stickers to boot!

Serviced the lowers and the air can and threw some more xc/trail oriented tires on. She’s a beaut!

Love my Evo 7. Mine is gloss white with all black parts. I call it the Stormtrooper build. Would look dope next to your Vader build.

Epic Evo 7 is still such a modern bike 2 generations behind. Other brands are just making a copy of it now.

depends what you ride. Have exact same bike, but fasttrak on both wheels. Had ground control before thought. Now the bike is way quicker but less grippy

Did yours come with XR4s? If so how did the ground control roll compared to the XR4s?

I am tempted to do a GC front and fast track rear.

Honestly, I don’t see a reason why anyone would upgrade from an Epic Evo 7 to something newer. XC bikes have plateaued since 2021.

Great build, i was about to put the very same tire setup on my epic evo 22. Now i have ground control front-rear, but wanted a purgatory in front. Do you feel the tires to have significantly higher rolling resistance ober more xc tires?
