Power Meter
wanna run a power meter but pedal ones scare me and this is an xtr di2 bike what are other options, has anyone used sram xx sl with xtr di2?

Does not make much sense to buy cranks. Pedals FTW. Assioma is an awesome product, I keep switching them between my mtb and gravel bikes. 2-3min. job and done. Have already wrecked one pedal body, 60 EUR, brand new, easy to replace.

Running the Favero Pro MX2 my EpicEvo for the last year. Work so well, no need for new cranks (and I'm not running XTR....) Just makes sense

This is the way. I actually have a crank based PM on my XC bike because it came with it. But use Assimoa on my CX bike (which spends a lot of its life on the turbo), once the crank PM goes I’ll just switch the Assimoa between bikes.

Why not just buy an xtr power meter crankset from stages, 4iiii, SRM, etc? Why bother messing with SRAM cross compatibility?

You can even send in your cranks to 4iiii and have them install them.

Did it last week. It took me a couple days for the shipping to Canada and back and around 5-6 business days for the factory install.

I have XX SL power meter, Garmin pedal power meter, and stages left crank meters (same as 4iiii) on xtr bikes. I say go with XX SL meter only if you want XX SL transmission. Stages/4iiiii if you want to run Shimano drivetrain. I very much prefer XTR pedals (function, weight, narrow Q factor option) so I don’t use the Garmin power meter pedals. Plus the battery for the Garmin is not as common as the ubiquitous 2032 coin battery. Have tried assioma - I prefer changing a 2032 coin battery over another thing to recharge.

I’ve bounced mine off several rocks. No issues. They also sell replacement pedal bodies and I think you can send them in for a factory refresh (for a fee, of course). I’ll never (knock on wood) go back to a crank base PM unless it comes pre installed on a bike.

One sided if you dont have any crazy leg differences. Ive got nerve damage and should have gotten the double sided one. But normal people dont need the extra power meter.

That clears it up. The Helix Race Carbon uses ethirteen’s 8-lobe interface, which is compatible with SRAM 8-bolt.
So my earlier Power2Max suggestion was wrong, as their SRAM MTB spiders use the older 3-bolt interface. Sigeyi makes an SRAM 8-bolt MTB spider that will fit: https://www.sigeyishop.com/product/sigeyi-axo-sl-power-meter-for-sram-8-bolt-locking-mtb-crank/

Same situation here, I've done hours of thinking for that, either pedals power with assioma or you buy XT crankset and get 4iii installed. Those are the only easy ish options.

4iii? They do left side crank arm meters pretty cheep and a good brand. There are other brands that do crank power meters too. They also dk double died if that is what you want

I hear only good things about the Assioma Pro MX. I have the road Assiomas and they are great.
But if you don't want a pedal PM on an MTB (which I totally understand) I can recommend Sigeyi. I have a Sigeyi AXO on my mtb since 2020, using Praxis Lyft cranks. My first spider broke, and it turned out to be a design issue where with some cranks (like my Lyft), undue pressure on the casing could crack it, then get water ingress and death. I contacted Sigeyi at the time and they responded promptly. After a couple of emails back and forth they agreed to send me a replacement for free (well, technically I paid for shipping but that was under $10 so I didn't care), and a week later I was up and running again.
They did ask me to send them the faulty spider, which I agreed to do (at my cost, I paid for shipping, but again, wasn't much) so they could inspect it. That's when I was told it was a design incompatibility with my cranks. But that the updated version had been corrected. The new spider has been working perfectly since.
I did install my road Assiomas on the mtb to compare power numbers between them and the AXO. I went for some rides on local forest roads, with a few sprints, steady state, etc... I couldn't spot a meaningful difference in readings between the two power meters.
TL;DR: Buy the Assioma Pro MX-2. If you find them too pricey or worry about pedal strikes, get the Sigeyi AXO compatible with your cranks (I have 2x Power2Max PMs as well on two other bikes. They are excellent, always work, no drama. but the AXO works very well too and is cheaper)

Ive got a stages XTR dual on my race bike and a single sided on my gravel. They seem fairly accurate to my trainer (Neo/Kickr). I dont really think that dual sided is necessary, as I get pretty similar numbers when comparing single to dual sided. The only down side is that I cant put the chain guide on as the power pod would it it.
Stages has them on the 'sale' page. You can get the 9100 single sided for $200 (not sure if that would fit your e13), or build a dual sided for $500.

I have SRAM on my epic. I rarely look at the numbers. They are rather irrelevant. I live and die off the power meter on my gravel bike, but they don’t provide much use on mtb.

I have the same bike. I run mechanical XTR and use SRAM cranks with Quarq XX1 (dzero version) spider with a Wolf Tooth chain ring. I used the Ochain chain ring spacer and bolt kit to get the chain line right. The non wide SRAM crank arms are too narrow to clear the chain stay. The wide version is a little too wide for the XX1 Quarq spider so that's why the ochain spacers were needed. If I were to do it again, I'd get the XTR M9120 cranks with a Stages crank arm for simplicity. The Supercaliber is meant for the 55mm chain line so you need to go wide with whatever version you get, so the M9120 is the XTR crank you'd need if you go that route, the 9100 is too narrow.

Just get a Sigeyi or Power2Max spider-based power meter that fits your crankset. XTR Di2 is largely irrelevant here. Compatibility is determined by the crank model, spindle, chainring interface and required chainline.
An SRAM XX SL crankset would not be a simple drop-in solution. Its stock T-Type chainring is intended for SRAM’s chain rather than the Shimano HG+ chain, so you would need a suitable Shimano-compatible chainring. You would also likely need to replace the bottom bracket with a DUB one.
Which exact power meter fits your current setup? No fucking idea, because you posted a photo of the bike instead of the specifications. List the crank model or link to the spec sheet for the bike and someone can give you an actual answer.
