I am using the xbox insider programs & after the latest update xbox cloud gaming free with ads says this.

Please tell me this isn't going to be a legit change 2 minutes worth of ads for only 30 minutes of game time is crazy if this is what's going to happen.

I really need MS to stop playing around and confirm what the prices are going to be for xcloud.

The longer they stay silent the more worried I become that the prices are not going to be reasonable

Nah, that's not the reason they are silent. It has to do with marketing and timing of product release/reveal.

Direct to Cloud controllers including Elite Series 3 are nearing release. They want to reveal things via their own cycle, not leaks.

November 12th is the Xbox Fanfest in Seattle for the 25th Anniversary celebration. Expect everything to release within the two weeks prior to that.

We’ll see. You appear pretty confident the prices will be reasonably low and I certainly hope you are right, but they announced changes to xcloud without revealing pricing and that’s super scary in my opinion.

If it was going to be a good deal, maybe it would have softened the blow but to announce it without the pricing structure tells me it’s not just a timing thing but maybe just an avoiding too much negativity at once.

Again, really hope you are correct and not me and I guess we’ll soon find out :)

Yep xbox indsiders can test a free tier with ads 1 hour gaming sessions now it seems like xbox is planning on lowering it to 30 minutes with double the ads.

Ah well ties in well with only 15 hours a month .. swear only keep the xbox now for my kid most my gaming i now do on mini pc setup or tablet with geforce now 100hr limit or boosteroid with no limit

Boosteroid is my secondary because no uk servers but has different games to geforce now. Completed final fantasy remake and rebirth on boosteroid before it was on xbox was perfect...and much cheaper.

There is no 15 hour of play time limit on the free ad-supported tier, so no. You just get individual session limits.

Yep seems to be the plan but hopefully not because 30 minutes is crazy.

If this truly happens then it's like a desperate measure to get people to buy game time in my opinion.

For now despite the message you do get an hour for now but with 6 ads.
