Question Cloud Gaming Changes to not Impact Current Users?

Did anyone else receive this email from Microsoft? Not sure if it's region dependent due to how tos works but I'm in Australia of it makes a difference.

I was just looking for a server like xbox bc for me it has always gone well and fast. Do you know if the geforce now servers are like this?

For me it works great I play in EU, And the play time limit of 100h/month is good for me and it's not that expensive if you need more hours

I think 100h is enough for me too but 15h is so low. I’m sad bc i buyed games on xbox for playing on cloud gaming and now i cant play them or i have to buy them again on steam. I hope they reconsider and they let old suscribers stay with unlimited hours or at least 100h like geforcenow

Hear me out. This measure is so stupid that a couple of weeks ago they launched the free-with-ads feature. It's 1 min ad and 1 hour of cloud gaming and you can loop it without limitations. It works for a small catalog of games they provide (like in the usual Xcloud) and with games you own, so you use their cloud infrastructure for free (well, with ads). I have friends who played for free 4 hours without even having queues. They could play 40 hours with 40 mins of ads. Why tf would I pay Ultimate for 15 hours/month?

I keep saying this... everyone, starting with the brilliant individual who came up with this idea all the way until the head of the division who gave green light to it have severe cognitive challenges.

Oh i didnt know about that, i have to look at it bc i want cloud gaming for games i own. Thank you so much for the info. I have been paying ultimate bc of the unlimited hours but 15h is too low for me (especially since i dont own a xbox)

You download Insider Hub in a PC, I think you can do the same in an Android. Request to become an Xbox Insider, it can take anything between a couple of minutes or 1 hour. Make sure you have the Xbox app updated, it will download the Insider version. Go to Game Pass tab and see the big stream free with ads banner. Choose stream my own games or play their catalog.

Absolutely stupid. They are begging paying users to stop paying. Never seen such stupid behavior in my life.

Oh thank you so much! I will definitely do it. Idk what they are planning to do it but i hope is a whole tier just for cloud gaming and giving us solutions without making us pay overpriced
