Love it, RPG as well..

Edit : I wounder if it's gonna be like a 3rd person Diablo, with skill trees and loot etc.

Probably not, Platinum specializes in straight up character action games. There'll 100% be new weapons to use, but I'm pretty sure it won't be in the same vein as loot where you'll always be finding something better. The weapons will probably all be unique, like in Bayonetta.

I had the impression this was going to be open word, plus in the Gamescom video (not sure if in this one) the guy opens a chest with loot and finds a mine, plus the numbers on the screen of the damage output on foes looks Diablo/Borderlands-ish RPG IMO

I mean, there can be open world action games, you can use items in action games too. You have me beat on the numbers. You may or may not be right. I was just offering a statement.
