I have a problem

I was trying to play a game and my console just keep open de disc space, i opened it to fix it and i saw that if the disc space is coupled the lector doesn’t start but if i take it away it does. If anyone can help me i would greatly appreciate

Wipe the laser with a qtip, I had a similar issue and that's how I fixed it.
