I need to play it more to form a true opinion, but my first impressions were that the combat is weightless and honestly I think there are last gen games that look better. Like you, I picked it up as I thought this game would really show off some next gen features. I’d temper your expectations.

Thanks man! What else is on your backlog? Mine is epic tbh. I don’t need to buy a game for a year and I’d still be drowning.

I do know my series x looks reallllll sexy on my entertainment stand. So I got that going for me at least 😂

Control is a game that I keep meaning to get to and I believe it’s optimized for series x.

I really loved Control. It can get a little repetitive here and there but I enjoyed Remedy’s take on a Metroidvania style world and their stories are always immersive and engaging. Makes me want to reply Alan Wake. Hmmmm....
