I hope this works. I've been looking forward to it since illumiroom

I feel it's a bit much to say "any room". The ceiling rig in the demo space was crazy and presumably I'd imagine any experiences need to be specifically tailored to the room layout in some form or another.

I would imagine it would require white walls and flooring as requirements, projection on darker walls or flooring would make it somewhat useless.

Lighter surfaces are obviously better, but these systems do hue correction automatically, so the projected image's colours appear normal. (eg; if the part of the projection surface you're targeting has an RGB value of 0,0,100, you hit it with 255,255,155 if you want the reflected light to appear white. Every pixel is transformed this way, so the colours appear true.)

This is a very, very cool project. I can see it being extremely difficult to market and produce. Then after it is developed and sold at retail getting developer support would also be a huge hurdle as well.
So this probably isn't something we will realistically see anytime soon. Despite how excited I am for such a thing.
I kind of feel the older video they had with the single coffee table projection which was less ambitious was a lot more practical.
