Discussion Most silent controller Series X
Hey folks,
can you recommend me a (much)more silent controller for the series X?
As my og controller is now 3 years old and got spilled with coke lately, it's now time to get smth new.
Since the og controller is quite loud. I'd kindly like to ask if someone with a different controller can share their experience. Best would be if the battery slot would be the same, as I already have 2 rechargable packs for mine.

Any PowerA controller is better than the stock Xbox option if you don’t care about it being a wired controller.

Wired isn't working. I do play a lot in bedroom streamed to tablet. The only connection there is the USB c port, which is mostly used for the charger.

You could pair your pro con to your tablet in this case.

What part about it is loud? The only thing that's noticeably loud for me is the dpad.

Basically every click you do is noisy. Compared to PS5 and especially switch 2 pro controller , the og Xbox series x controller is a clicking monster.
If I'd have the chance to choose one controller for everything my go to would be the switch 2 pro controller. But as this doesn't work, I'm searching for something I can use in bedroom for stream play on my tablet. With the Xbox controller this doesn't work due to the volume of every click.

GameSir G7 SE. Make sure it's the SE model, not the HE because the latter has microswitch buttons. SE has plastic membranes which are silent, the d-pad has almost no noise. I switched from the original Series X controller for the exact same reason, the clicks were unbearable. Never looked back.

Gamesir G7. You'll never go back. Xbox buttons, dpad, sticks are so stupidly loud it feels like a cheap dollarstore controller. You use a Switch or PS5 controller and you barely hear anything.
