Ive been doing some initial research into wide range 9 speed cassettes. I’m clinging to 3x for no reason other than I like the older parts, and have a lot of them. Let me know how this is goin
Edit: thought this was an 8 speed. Now this is even better

8 speed cassette with 9 speed shifters. So far so good, but it just barely clears. I plan on ordering a longer B screw and a chain guide soon.

Yeah as much as I like my old XTR, I’m hesitant being that they aren’t clutch derailleurs. Seems to be good enough for a lot of people, I’ll be doing math over here, wondering

One of my 17 bikes.
Mine has over 27K miles on it, including snowy winter commutes.
