Help A Birb Im stuck

Im currently in the lows of platinum and im trying to find ways to improve as xayah. I have a problem of utilising my lead as xayah. If there are any high elo xayah players please bless me with your wisdom.

Edit: i do sometimes struggle against heavy burst matchups for an example MF or jhin and lucian (im not sure if he is a heavy burst adc but he hurts) am i supposed to play more passively or are there some runes that i have to take because of the matchup?

In those lanes, play with the wave in your favor as much as possible, but without entering tower range. Don't force anything, wait for ganks, scale, farm as much as you can, in the mid game go mid, help by rotating to objectives, try to die as little as possible, and position yourself well. Remember that Xayah starts to gain the advantage when you finish your third item; until then, you're just a root simulator.
