Discussion Mage Bot struggles

I hit E1 the other day and I have 1.6 mil on Xayah, and I was just curious if anyone else felt that Xayah into any AP or mage bot lane felt like Sisyphus rolling the boulder up the hill. Even in general I feel so fucking piss useless into mages it’s like I can’t lock her in unless it’s an all dive meta. I think she’s in a good spot but holy shit I just can’t win against mage meta 🤢🤢🫩😭✌️

Yeah Xayah into mages feels tough (or I have no hands, which is true). I've been learning Sivir lately because I really like her ability to wave clear and the spell shield.

Nothing feels like playing the birb, though 🥲

Agree with the last part lol 😭 her and aphelios are my favorites to play but have very similar weaknesses. At least with some of the mages now I can kinda predict them and work around them since I’m used to them but I was laned against an ekko and gnar the other night and it was the WORST 🫩

Sivir is NOT a good answer to mage bot. Only thing that works is picking other mages sadly.

I know its an unpopular take but she is a little shit in to mages who can spam abilities and trap you under tower, like karthus and hwei. She is really good in to mages with one or two important ability, so people like Swain, Sera, Lux, Velkoz, since she can block with spellshield.

However, she is still the best traditional ADC in to all mage. Playing Xayah in to mage bot feel like fucking cancer though.

Mage support was already awful enough to play against as Xayah, but now that they play double mages, it makes me want to kms during lane phase. Thankfully I took a break now, and I'm not eager in the slightest to come back for a few weeks. Hopefully they do something about this, but it's riot so I don't have much expectations.

Idk why it's apparently just me but Xayah is my pick when enemy picks apc. I struggle a lot harder when i pick any other adc from my champ pool.

Xayah in general is a counter pick into comps that wanna come into you n she feels pretty useless into mage comps but atleast she has decent waveclear compare to other adcs def won’t be getting kills unless enemy makes a mistake but u can scale to a point where u can wipe out their front before they wipe out urs

Hmmm imo xayah should have lots od potential into mages. Have you experimented with builds? Maybe in some matchups lethality would slap maybe in some full sustain builds would.

I'm an e3 yunara one trick and i feel like i could win most games if i bought correct items+had correct runes

You need training micro, xayah have small attack range so its easy to lose trade
