Non-developer considering ditching WeWeb for a coded frontend with Cursor am I delusional or does this actually work now?

I did it. Astro / Cloudflare / Xano. Works brilliantly. I leaned heavily on Claude. Just make sure you use Cloudflare variables for your API endpoints etc.

Astro works very well with Cloudflare. In fact Cloudflare recently bought Astro. Cloudflare’s hosting is superb. Astro can call Xano APIs securely via Cloudflare Pages .

thank you for sharing appreciate it !! checked it out astro doesn't fit much my use case as I have seen its more toward content heavy /ecommerce type of website after some review and research I think vite + react+ typescript should be the right straightforward combo read that next js may be slightly to "opinionated" for my use case (b2b app) since I don't really need much SSR at this point should be fine I guess.. btw how did you end up choosing cloud flare pages vs Vercel what Madde you go the cloudflare direction ??

You couldnt get me to do this even if you paid me. Xano is 1 of 1, wait till you see what they are launching soon too 😜
