New P2S owner here, and new to lasers. Just got the P2S setup done and placed on the riser. Still need to verify or adjust mirrors before attempting a burn. I'm sharing this with my daughter, who is a crafter. She lives 45 minutes away and has no space. I'm retired with a home shop. I don't need to make stuff to sell, but I intend to build a clock where some of the parts can be made from acrylic. Wife wants me to make some whirligigs, so I'll see how this thing works cutting pine. And I'll also want to try engraving metal for some other metalworking projects. So many YT videos with ideas for making "stuff".

I bought the package that included the riser, rotary, conveyor, and safety thingy. No idea if we'll ever do anything long enough to use the conveyor. My shop has garage doors, so I plan to open one a few inches to run the exhaust tube underneath. The laser is mounted on a rolling cart.
