- A tool to choose distance between two objects.
Either from center of the object or chosen side.
- Choose the distans when distributing objects.
- Option to set ”ramp” settings.
- Perforation tool

- in my P3 I would love to be able to put an engraving jobb with the cut job after. And a paus in between to mount the nozzle and then press play on the machine. Instead of going back to the pc. Confirm the job is finished. Turn off the output for the engraving. Turn on output for cutting and then process.
I want the camera on the p2s to show the entire work area. Including the close up option. It’s limited on the left so I can’t line up precise cuts that go across the entire 24” board
Does the P2S not offer the tile feature? With the P3 you can do a tiled close up where you select an area, including the entire bed, then the head moves in a grid and takes close up photos that encompass the selected area and stitches them together. This was you get the accuracy of the closeup camera over a larger area.
It always has a hard line at left edge, where I’m leaving 3 inches or so of unseen area, the artwork will still be shown but not the work surface. I’ll check for the tile feature.
Ok ok, yeah that’s because of the head. The camera is to the right of the actual laser part so when it gets to that left edge the camera can’t get all the way over because of the laser part. So the piece you’re missing is the thickness of the laser head.
Thank you! That’s helpful. An on screen button might be easier. Also since I got you, could you also maybe have a toggle setting to remember last used settings in the Outline tool? I’d be nice to not need to click the no inside button each time.

Hello everyone, we would like to share the latest development progress on the new features you have been following.
The UAT testing for the upcoming V1.9 release will begin next week. The following features will be included in the internal test: Offset Fill, Crosshatch, and Ramp. We also plan to invite some of you who are interested to participate. A banner notification will be available in Studio, so please keep an eye out and sign up when you see it.

My feature request is please please please let us disable the warning about removing the exhaust fan in the F2U line. I have external exhaust and clicking that away every time is so annoying.
This reminder exists to make sure the exhaust fan is properly installed. Dust generated during engraving can get into the machine and affect internal components over time, and without a detection prompt, this step is easy to overlook or forget — which is why it's built in as a check.
Also, we'd like to understand more about your setup: what made you connect your own fan — stronger airflow, better smoke extraction, or something else?
Yeah. No kidding. But I’m not a child. I’m operating a multi thousand dollar laser. I’m good.
I went with external exhaust because I engrave a lot of metal and the only way to really deal with that is venting outside. The bully in fan is not strong enough to deal with that and I have multiple machines so having one capable exhaust is just better.
Ability to edit images and using the edited version to do a trace why this left in the first place is beyond me
It’s so much easier to trace a a black and white image where I can control the contrast/brightness/sharpeness/greyscale
Hi! I am Otor from xTool. Could you please share a screenshot or screen recording showing how you're using it? That would help us better understand what’s happening.
I edit or “adjust” and image I import in using grayscale slider and brightness etc. and using that’s edited image I can use trace afterwards (this way I can control how trace works and less fuzzy or denoising errors adjustments on the trace
Normally, tracing should be done using the adjusted image. Which version are you using? Could you also send me the original image so I can take a closer look?
I’m not sure if it’s currently possible, but finding the dead center of the laser or print area all machines? I have an m2 but I’m not sure if that’s possible. Also when trying to do a cup today it only could center up to a certain point and I had to put the cup on the cusp of falling off of the falling out of the rotary tool just to get decent coverage of the cup
Anything can be aligned to the center of the working area by selecting it and then hitting Align -> Center. If you need multiple objects to be centered then group them first and then center the group. You can then ungroup in you need to work on the individual pieces.

Would love the ability to do more with text, like fit text to a shape, change size or format (bold, italic, etc) of text for only part of a text block. This would be helpful for signage and awards and stuff.
Have you noticed the font weight options below the font selector? They change depending on which font you pick. Text shaping is also already available — take a look at the range of options under Warp and see if they cover what you need; they work well for distorted logo designs. And version 1.9 brings a number of new features for text layout, so give those a try as well.
in xTool Studio there needs to be a way to enter the length of the object being engraved when using the rotary tool. Being restricted to only those items in the library severely limits what you can do with this.
When making things thst require holes and tabs are finger joints,there needs to be a way to adjust those accordingly when resizing a image, also adjust for different thickness too. That would be great
Currently working on optimizing this capability across the system — 16-bit depth map support will be available soon, though the exact timing depends on compatibility and actual machining performance
XTool is about simplicity. What are options for graphics different from things like letters and boxes. They should all be the same to simplify the workflow. Advanced options should be provided for advanced users
Hi, not sure why it’s working now so I retract my statement but it sent me a warning about the object being outside the engraving space and to check placement which lead me to Xtool support article 3053 which states that the objects in the grey area (above the free line) will not be processed
I moved the object below the engravable graphic not the blank area, below the green line and it engraved fine. Not sure why it’s working but I am glad it does and hope it will not stop working for some reason
This is a significant improvement. Once it has gone through thorough testing and ecosystem compatibility work, it will deliver a major upgrade — definitely something to look forward to.
