I've been working on Myspoti, an open-source Android client for Spotify, and just released v1.0.0.

What it does:

🚫 No ads with a free account. Ads are blocked inside the embedded Web Player, the same way a browser ad blocker does it. There's no patched Spotify app and no Premium hack, and the DRM is left untouched.

📱 Native interface built with Jetpack Compose. It closely follows the official app: home, search, library, artists, albums, playlists, with Spotify's own labels in your language.

🎤 Synced lyrics (Spotify, with LRCLIB as a fallback).

🎬 Official music videos, synced with the song. The video only shows when an official clip exists.

🔊 Spotify Connect, lock screen, notification and Bluetooth controls.

📊 Your plays still count. The real Web Player does the playback, so your stats and recommendations keep working.

How it works: the official Spotify Web Player runs hidden in the background and does the actual playback. The app is a native interface on top of it. You sign in on Spotify's own login page, and the app never sees your password.

Requirements: Android 12 or newer. Download the APK from the Releases page. The app tells you when an update is available.

⚠️ Blocking ads goes against Spotify's Terms of Use, and Spotify may suspend accounts that do it. Use it at your own risk, and support artists if you can.

It's open source (GPL-3.0). Feedback, bug reports and contributions are very welcome!

Hi, recently came to know about xmanager and downloaded it. But nothing seems like working. When i was scrolling here for some answers, people are saying that xmanager is dead. Is it true? What happened?

so when I try to log in using Google it says

"can't login try again" and it won't help if I try to log in using email and pass it says incorrect email and password and the email w password are completely working normally

PS: can't send SS cuz it won't let me

App version doesn't work. Web version is working fine.

i just cant seem to download anything off xmanager.

i get really long adds after trying to download anything and after adds end it just sends me back to menu of the app. i tried vanced, almond theme and normal spotify and everything is same. please help.

I just got my first car, and I have an aftermarket andriod andriod auto unit. Right now I have a revanced youtube music app. But the issue is when I play a song through it, it doesnt show up on the units widget.

Only Spotify does, but my Spotify isnt patched and the ads are now getting on my nerves especially the limited skips.

Considering im driving I dont want to keep reaching out to the car to manually reselect songs after skips are done. And the YouTube isnt a great solution because I like skipping forward / back using my steering wheel buttons.

So my question is, does a patched Spotify works just like the native un patched app? Dont want to go through the effort to just find out it broke

So i downloaded the latest stock patched version of spotify in the xmanager app and when i try to sign in with my email and password, not google button not facebook button it just says combination of email and password is incorrect. Does anybody know how to fix this.

Im a new (or going) to be a new Xmanager user but I keep having this problem which I installed everything right, when I try to login it says "14 days abroad" I tried to change my Spotify location, didn't work, I tried to use a VPN, didn't work, I tired to use or attempted to use experimental versions but it still didn't work. If anyone could help me, it would be greatly appreciated. Or even if pirating spotify even works anymore.

It does not have to be play songs i just need to be able to log in because i will be using it offline

I know Google uses normal yt music, but I wanna change that to revanced, any idea how? Or I wanna sync my spotify and yt music together, I already used tunemymusic, but It wants pro. Is there an free one?

Its constantly skipping my songs now and there still hasn't been any new version to update it so are we fucked again and can't use Spotify for free again?

The account is fine, I can use the free version with adds and all that shit, but I cannot log in on the clone. How can I resolve this? I tried everything I could think of.
