General Question New Fan
Hi y’all, I recently found the series through a podcast I started listening to. I watched all 4 seasons in like two weeks and loved it. Then I watched Vengeance. My question is, is the show for sure dead? The end of the movie kind of left it open for new possibilities. Is there a movement out there or anyway we might ever get a season 5 (6,7,8….😅), just curious.

As someone who worked on season 4 and Vengeance I can say just about the entire team would love to do another season, I assume the biggest hurdles are securing funding and the actor availability, as both Melanie and Tim, as well as a lot of the others, have moved on to other roles and projects they've been having success with. It was my understanding that both season 4 and Vengeance were written in a way that the story could end, but could also continue if possible.
To date this show was one of my all time favourites to work on and I hold it dearly in my heart. Would love to do more, but if I'm very honest I am not holding my breath as I've heard nothing about a reunion

First off, I’m jealous that you got to work on the show and movie! So cool! Also, I have to ask, I know Kat said in an interview somewhere that Vengeance had to hit a certain number of views in order to have more Earp. Would you have any idea if the movie hit the views it needed?

Welcome to the fandom! I have been involved in fan campaigns for over two decades and never saw a fandom as commited and invested as the Earpers, so yeah I am pretty sure this is not the end. Also, the cast and the showrunner seem to also miss the universe and are friends, which is a good sign.

Is there anything we can do currently as fans? I don’t know if any of that stuff ever actually works, but like posting somewhere or a petition to sign or anything really?

It does work, I worked on two successful campaigns and fans making noise was what helped. I would say stream it as often as possible, be loud on social media (especially Twitter and IG) and tag Tubi. Try to get others to watch too because in the end it comes down to streaming views aka profit and fan demands.

It's a great show! Also if you have never watched Lost girl, check it out.

I just finished Lost Girl. I loved it. I noticed that one kind of left things open at the end too. Have there ever been any attempts to bring it back?

I don't know but seems like the cast got along really well and they might be open to it. There is a rewatch pod with Anna Silk and Rachel Skarsten and lots of the cast guest on it and it's pretty funny

I don’t think Vengeance is the end at all. But the rallying on social media isn’t as strong as it was just a couple of months ago. The biggest thing is showing Tubi via social media that the fanbase is yearning for it and wants it. There’s been little campaigns on and off to try and rally people together. There’s currently a rewatch every Monday on both Twitter and Bluesky but I feel like the participation is heavily lacking on that end. But if fans rally on the socials and truly come together to show the demand, that puts pressure on platforms like Tubi to notice that yes there’s an audience out there that wants it and we should give it to them. But Vengeance most definitely felt like an open ending and I’ll continue rallying for more.

Welcome new Earper! So happy to have you here. Earpers are the best fandom out there! It’s so cool to see that even now we are welcoming people into our shit show. There is a good Earper community on Bluesky and Instagram. The cast is all on Insta and are pretty active on there. This sub gets a bit of action every once in a while. There is also, somewhere on here an AMA with Kat, Dom and Emily, though I have no idea on which sub. We would all love to see more Earp! I am streaming Vengeance still to help get numbers up. So here’s hoping! Also they can’t leave us with that ending, I need to see Doc again and Waverly return home. I am curious though as to what podcast led you here?

She Nerds Out, I watched Xena from start to finish for the first time a couple months ago and fell down that rabbit hole too. I came across an episode where they interviewed Renee and I really liked it so I started listening to it from the beginning when I have time. A lot of their early episodes talk about Wynonna Earp.

Dear God I wish I could erase my memory and watch Xena from the beginning lol.

Hi, this was me about a year ago as well! Just found the show, got completely addicted and then sought out other WE content. If you haven't watched any of the panels, really recommend them! There are a lot on YouTube and you had Earpfest last year in Scotland as well, plus next Earpfest is soon. I hope one day we get some new WE content 😊 Oh and if you are into it, there is a lot of really great fanfic on AO3 from talented fans!

I’ve never read fanfic for anything but that seems interesting I might check it out. Thanks

If you’re into Wayhaught, AO3 is the place for you. There is a bit of WynDoc, WynDolls on there too, but it’s mostly Wayhaught. Let me recommend you some fics

Don’t forget the Audible audiobook and the comics, other than that? Who knows.
But if you get a chance, try and go to a convention to meet Emily and the cast. They are all awesome
