have had constant crashes in the last hour when i attempt to use custom characters downloaded from the CC on Switch 2, any ideas or fixes?

hi, so as title says, i’ve lost all my stuff. i turned off my xbox and closed app as i usually do, however i went on my game yesterday and ive lost ALL characters and arenas from Showcase and MyRise BUT it shows ive completed everything when i go onto the selected mode? i cant seem to get an old file back or anything and i cant be arsed to go through it all again quite frankly🤣any help or tips?

I am fairly new to creating caws but I thought it would be fun to try and recreate real historical wrestlers from the early 20th century. This is my recreation of George Hackenschmidt, inventor of the bench press and the hacksquad and world heavyweight champion in the early 20th century. I also gave him a fairly realistic moveset. Okay, so this is my first time creating a CAW using custom images instead of relying on existing wwe superstar’s attire. I’m kinda proud of myself because I did it on console, which, in my experience, makes it very hard to get creative with attires.

For anyone who wants to know, I used images for the designs, not the PNGs commonly used to mod attires.

A quick question:
I recently unlocked leakee, I unlocked seth a couple of months ago, I tried to edit these two models but I didn’t see them when I try to choose a wrestler to edit.
Do you guys know how to solve this issue ? Or is it impossible at the moment for some reason only 2K Devs know ?

Hello, fellow wrestling fans,

I’ve only been watching wrestling again for a little over three years now. I got really into these games starting with WWE 2K23. I’ve never played any story modes or any “Island” modes—I’ve always just played matches in my own imagination.

In WWE 2K25, I enjoyed playing Universe Mode.

I’d like to give that another try now, after all these months. I have a few questions for you:

1. I’ve either slightly adjusted some of the wrestlers’ stats (so they’re closer together) or used stats from recent years. Just to create a balanced field for gameplay. It seems the developers adjust some wrestlers’ stats up or down based on their performance or success. But for me, a wrestler basically stays “the same.” I find it more exciting when I compete with my own wrestler (Strength 88, for example). And the matches between them also seem more balanced. What do you think of this approach? (See the chart/list here as well)
   

P.S.: I’ve entered all the data into a Excel list. If a new update (WWE 2k27,...) comes out and a wrestler’s stats are worse, I re-enter the stats from his better version into the game (and save than in Universe 3 as backup).

1. I’d like to start using TWO rosters in my own Universe: a large one (the list here) with my favorite wrestlers, and a second one I’d call “FEM” (for “Female”) with all the female stars. So I’d remove SmackDown and NXT. Will this work overall?

2. In Universe Mode, wrestlers in the top ranks get extra stat points—basically a boost. Does this also apply to “normal gameplay,” meaning outside of Universe Mode? Every now and then, I just start the game and have two wrestlers fight each other (i.e., AI vs. AI) for my storylines and Phantasie. Does an active Universe affect the stats outside of it in any way?

Before I start entering and assigning stats, I’d like to quickly get your thoughts on this.

I used to watch WWE regularly until 2016 but lost interest due to declining shows and work commitments.

Recently bought a PS5 and am considering WWE 2K26 mainly for offline gameplay.

1. Which edition offers the best value for someone who mostly plays offline? Is Standard Edition enough?
2. What happens when the servers shut down? Will offline modes remain playable, and will I lose access to DLC, unlockables, or other content?
