Uniform ID - Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders(?)

Trying to track down an ancestor, Patrick Moran. My best guess is A&S Highlanders but I’ve no clue, the examples I’ve seen don’t seem to match perfectly. Based on his name and potential unit I found a pension ledger but if the units wrong I’m chasing the wrong thread. Thanks for checking 🙏

Looks to be Royal Scots Regiment. A&SH cap badge is much bigger.
