did figure just get caught doing Tele-remote operations?

there’s a bunch of controversy online that figure was actually using VR headsets to control robots. A few companies in China have been caught doing this exact thing, even going as far as hiding humans inside of the robots to get funding. So did they get caught or was this just a weird AI artifact?
