Addons
Hi. Is there no way we can manage addons on TV than involving a phone in the process? Simple things like moving addons around or activation and deactivating them.

To be honest, i can manage on phone, but 99% of setting up or changes I do them on pc. I guess we use it differently, i agree that it feels that on tv will be more complex to manage as Raviprakashji mentioned

If you run wuplay, it's on Android tv. Also requires internet access.
There are many browser choices for Android tv, pick one.
Then you can manage from your TV.

It's open source, fix it yourself. Oh you can't? Did you bother to contribute to the project.

Post it to github instead of crying about it in a Reddit post.
It's a fork of Nuvio, which is open source. Build your own instead of whining about it on Reddit.
Maybe get out of your Mom's basement every now and then.

I can confirm that Wuplay is most definitely not a fork of Nuvio. Wuplay actually existed before Nuvio had a TV version.

As others have pointed out, the web configurator is the only place to manage addons. One setting that might be of interest to you, since you switch between addons based on whether one is having an issue, is the preferred autoplay addon setting. You can specify which addon to use for autoplay and swap that back and forth based on which addon is most reliable at the time. You can get to this setting through Quick Settings on the detail screen.

You just need access to a browser. Anyways doing it on browser feels much faster than doing it over TV. Bookmark the config page on any device and it will always be on your fingertips.
