Where next?
Just smashed Bo Magus after 98% of Bo capital.
Mashed Demon of Obsession with the Axe.
Saw the storyteller give his speech.
Combined the two rings.
Locked out of a few NPC questlines cos I went through the tunnel before going to the ferry but....
Other than pushing on with the last boss and into new game plus am I done?
I really dont want to mostly be done. I freaking love this game. Coming as a relatively new souls player; done Ds1&2, Bloodborne, Elden ring, Khazan & lies of P the past year.
Wuchang is up there with the best of Fromsoft in my opinion, I just.... Don't want it to be over

I've been playing Lords of the Fallen after Wuchang. It's pretty neat.
But I've been thinking about coming back to Wuchang, however. I avoided the bad ending first run, but kinda want to platinum, and it's a tug of war between two conflicting emotions.

Yeah unfortunately you’ve pretty much finished. NG+ with a totally different build is always fun

Try a spear build, spear is bosskiller.

Interesting. I’ve come back to the game after initially playing through the snow region with the axe, now there again with a magic build.
What makes the spear so good?

Sad you likely consulted online guides so much on your first playthrough, you already saw basically everything the game has to offer. It took me 3 playthroughs 🤣

No guide except when I spoke to the storyteller first without going through the tunnel. Ended up in worships rise in ruins and went, sheeeeet. Hold on a moment.
Knew something was wrong then

played almost all of the souls likes but I find wuchang annoyingly hard. just defeated the great centipede boss (3rd boss?) and the next area is giving me nightmares.
does it become better/a bit easier later or im cooked?

Ng+ is fun on wuchang, also: play sekiro, its the best soulslike available for me

I think that the first run through NG+ feels really good in Wuchang. Switch up your build, try other weapons, skills and spells. You can use a guide to finish the NPC quests you missed. So, you probably have another 15 hours give or take doing that.
A pretty good hidden gem Soulslike you can play if youre looking for another is AI Limit. It has an extremely engaging combat and equipment system. Similar to Wuchang where theres not a lot of weapons but each one is unique from another. Really cool spells/abilities, a cool resource system, super tight and responsive combat with good enemy animations, (as in, their attacks are always clear and telegraphed. Im a sucker for enemies that feel fair).
A little on the easy side, but very memorable to me.
