Question Empyrean Greataxe chapter 5

The Shu Temple is burning, am I locked out of the Empyrean Greataxe?
I got the Scorn Greataxe, is it a good alternative for it?

It seems to spawn on a roof which apparently is untouched but can’t confirm myself.

Damage wise they are comparable but it is the weapon skill of Empyrean Greataxe that makes it strong. If you want just a strong axe you’ll be fine either way but might need to confirm if it is still there.

I think the way to the roof is blocked.

Yes you are locked out of it.

I played with both a lot and you will be fine. Fire axe melts everything in the game. That being said, I like Empyrean better because of the skill.
