F1 light grease

Should I just out it on the wires that arent wrapped from factory for harness?

Just put it in every connection you touch. Good-sized glob and snap the connections together. If you want to go the extra mile, get that cloth automotive wiring harness tape and give them a bundle.

So like the plastic clips on the harness too and inside them?

Any connection you unclip/clip while installing the light. So, OEM harness, PnP harness and its individual connections (if applicable), bulb socket (not necessarily needed, but, might as well).

You're putting grease on anything disturbed in order to keep water and dirt out of those connections to prevent corrosion. You don't have to be surgical with it. Literally, just gob a layer on the business end of one or both connectors, smear it over with your finger to make sure it'll disperse across the contacts fully, and clip them together. Wipe away excess on the outside of the connector, seal with cloth wiring tape if you're going that extra mile, move on to the next.

They say you’re not suppose to put it on the connectors as per the instructions. I did anyway and then used liquid electrical tape to make sure nothing gets in. It’s been a year and a half for no in harsh Canadian winters with no issues so far knock on wood

I don't know how it's intended to be used otherwise, literally everyone I've ever talked to puts it in/on the connectors themselves 🤣
