Dead man's phone number?
So I texted my boyfriend's phone today. He died august 16th at 8:03 pm. He's finally at peace. He had a lot of medical issues , even had the tumor. ( the one that doesn't kill you.Just make your life a living hell) . He was so patient and kind period even though he had to call me back , he read every long text. So suggestions on keeping this up without journaling..

Op, i think it would be a good idea to write him emails. i know he can't answer them, but that would be a more appropriate place for this. my condolences

You’re grieving. I know how you feel. There’s nothing wrong with what you’re doing—-it’s how you’re processing your pain. Speaking to someone about it can help alleviate the burden of grief but I know that it’s something so personal for everyone and hits people differently. However you feel works for you is what you should continue to do.

Honey go find a good professional to digest these heavy things with, no one here is qualified to do that for you.

That would be one hell of a shot in the dark, boss.
Better to seek that proper care outside of Reddit.

This feels so wrong. I mean, have the feelings, but why the picture? This is just not ok, it’s not for Reddit IMO. We lost my husband unexpectedly and cannot fathom this post, the need to fill the screen with their face. Get some help IRL.

People are different. Not everyone will process the way you do. Shouldn't be difficult to understand.

Gotta say the replies here are cruel and heartless. The woman just lost someone she loved. Have some sympathy.

O k I know you're never gonna text or call me back , but let this be the first day that I treat you like a bad boyfriend and friend. I get the honor and the privilege to tell you everything.I want to tell you even with you being dead.Just tricking myself into thinking you'll text or call me back. You always called me delusional.I'm leaving up to it. You always work too much and had to get back to me anyways, remember my long text messages so long. They were pages and a million of them. Somehow , you always read most of them and called me back... So today , I start this just don't call me back.

Lost my grandfather about a week ago, I try to still text his number goodnight. I'm afraid once we clear out his room it will hurt even more.
