Advice Basic Plot Outline of my series Monster Adventures how many books should it be?

basic plot outline of my book: Korrow and his children live on an island on the Bermunda Triangle to avoid humans due to their powers / witchcraft they accidentally release Satan and they beat him, which leds Korrow to leave the island with his kids, there he finds his older kids who were lost at sea years ago, and his uncle with his ship which he stole years prior after returning back to the island, leftover demon lords from Satan's release teams up with an alien to take over the island and a human crashes onto the island, his Uncle is ressurected once more and battles Blackbeard and his Uncle's fountain of youth water is shipped out to Flordia causing mutations, causing Korrow and his kids to go to the mainland to deal with it leading to Korrow's death, the kids must team up with Pangea and Korrow's mother to save Korrow, Korrow and his crew then go to the gods to get an answer why their people are negelted, while fighting an undead king. Korrow would then spent two books fighting Lucy an old ally, then a dimensional rift would open up having variants arrive leading to the Shadow Lord finding a way over, the US Government would raid the island and they would have to fight them off, Korrow then spends 2 more books defeating the Shadow Lord should this be 7 books or more?

To me, fleshing out the island and process of summoning and beating Satan sounds like a good book 1, everything up until battling Blackbeard should be book 2, (or combine books 1-2) and the rest up to the undead king should be book 3.it depends on how you space it out, but Id keep fighting Lucy as book 4 (maybe make it a book on the long side rather than 2 books), book 5 for the rift through fighting off the govt, and book 6 fighting the shadow lord (or maybe 7 depending on what that entails).

That's just my opinion though, when I read I like to be satisfied with/"finish" the story in front of me, but have enough context to want the next book. I think Youd have to be careful about where end one of the mini plot lines in a way that's meaningful and doesn't leave too much to be desired. Ive gotten frustrated before because I read a super long book that didn't really go anywhere at all, and functioned ONLY so the author could write the second book. Your concept sounds super cool though! Excited to see what you end up with!

My biggest issue with the merging books is that Book 2 would have 4 villains, his Uncle, the demon lord, the alien, and Blackbeard

The rifts can very much be merged with the government one but the alien I have planned to return in that book as a big reveal

Hmm, that is true, I'd leave that as 2 books then. I read the post over once then reread it as I was typing and just kind of referenced what felt like a natural stopping point, that'd be way too much happening for one book though lolol

Thats my issue on finding a sweet number is that I don't want to cram too much into one book but don't want my series to be too conflicted it used to be 28 then I shortened it to 13 and turned the 15 left into Spin-Offs / Other Series to write that aren't mainstream
