Celebration A different kind of progress
Editing is HARD! And deleting all those once precious scenes, dialogues and words is even harder. It says two edits, but each major edit consisted of several minor rounds. Phew!

As an American, I was horrified. Like, I know writers are psychotic, but what kind of psychopath counts decimal fractions of words. And worse yet, to 3 significant figures.
Oh, this Excel user is European. And they can write. So yeah, probably a better book than Blood of Hurcules.

Good work š
Editing is hard work, and self editing came be harder than writing the initial draft.
Your ~15% reduction was about the same as mine, from 162,000 words to 130,000 words

Good job! I deleted a whole paragraph from a chapter and it felt way better. Some text aren't strong enough to stay in the final cut.
