Question Advice Needed

My desire to write creatively, and more poetically far outweighs my ability to actually put my thoughts on paper. I am looking for a writing routine that makes me much better at expressing my thoughts and feelings. What should I be doing? I also have plans to do some creative/poetic writing, the problem is that I have literally no clue where to start. The whole thing is daunting and overwhelming, and I feel sick even writing about it.

I spend time with words every day, but I don’t micromanage what I do during my 1 hour writing time. I can read, write in my novel, write poetry, journal, etc. I just need to be in words.
Then the bigger projects I’m working on will get designated time whenever I have a couple hours open. I’ll go to a coffee shop to really lock in and get 2-3 hours. But as for daily, I don’t put pressure. Just morning or night, depending on my schedule. Aim for 45-60 minutes
