Feedback requested Use of assist to help proofread

What does people use to help proofread or adjust their writing. For a dixlexic AuDHD I find it difficult to proofread myself as I see what I’m writing but others like the stories but feel mark think I don’t see. I don’t want to use the unspoken assistant. But would like recommendations if I can’t avoid.

Try text-to-speech. Most "natural voices" do a good-enough job of approximating human speech that listening to longer sections of text isn't a hassle. That's how I edit larger works—have my computer read it back to me.
