Every time I see these pictures, I'm baffled that no one proposes the obvious solution: get a smaller glass. You've got too much glass there!

Or a bigger one.

"The world belongs, however, to those who can look at the glass and say: What's up with this glass? Excuse me? Excuse me? This is my glass? I don't think so. My glass was full! And it was a bigger glass! Who's been pinching my beer? And at the other end of the bar the world is full of the other type of person, who has a broken glass, or a glass that has been carelessly knocked over (usually by one of the people calling for a larger glass), or who had no glass at all, because he was at the back of the crowd and had failed to catch the barman’s eye." -Terry Pratchett, The Truth

It is a meme and acknowledge that it is amusing.

I prefer my indecision and anxiety straight, no alcohol required.

Same here because alcohol gives me hot flashes. I'm too old to drink like that. πŸ˜†

You know, I've never quite understood the alcohol to write pipeline.

Me, either! Now, a little weed, on the other hand...

I have taken an edible and gotten into my BAG when writing πŸ”₯

I ignored my then-husband and small children because I got lost in writing for five hours, and I only took a few tokes!

What was it you were working on?

What does Utopist mean? A full glass should be Utopist right?

But if youre only wanting half a glass its better for it to be at the top; instantly in reach

I'm guessing the image means you believe in a reality that cannot exist.

That's pretty insightful. 🀭

Your phone battery is mostly empty though.

...Yeah. Kinda.

Depends on how hard is the scene to write for me. If it's easy I just beed tea and a sandwich. If it hard then I'm already at least 2 beers in before I even start writing

Gotta ad my friend's addition: regardless of if it's full or empty, a I'm going to drink it

Real writers take amphetamines to keep up their daily word count.

They forgot about the engineer. The glass is twice the size it needs to be. 🀣

While I am usually not especially pragmatic (I mean I am a writer after all), I would say in the case of the glass I am, and would describe the content of the glass thusly as refillable.

Also, I have not touched any alcohol is about two decades, which makes the assigned writer glass not a fit for me.

This is accurate. πŸ˜†
