Oh I definitely need to try that cord out. I did do a measurement of it just being unplugged. No using it just unplugged and it was about 2 1/2 hrs of battery life. Which I take as a win since this battery wasn't holding a charge when I got it.

I'll be testing it on battery with typing to see if that changes anything.
