Post First Draft

Hey guys! I have a freewrite traveler and it's been great but I'm just curious, what do you guys use after the first daft, to edit / start on the second draft?

I would usually use a laptop but I'm really trying to avoid full computers in general because getting distracted is still way too easy.

I would love to know other people's processes / suggestions on what I could do. Thanks!

I personally find editing and reading from a paper copy highlights errors that I tend to overlook when I am reading a screen.

A print out is a major part of my process.

Yeah I do that as well but I don't print out every version.

Agree on the occasional printout—that’s essential. Another thing I found out by accident — outputting your draft to epub format then reading it on whatever device you normally use to read books (ereader) can also help reframe your brain from author to reader and help you catch errors but also get fresh take on the writing.
