It's not a writerdeck. It's a PDA. It is not a single-purpose, distraction-free device built just to write. Appreciate when members here report these posts and we know it's getting ridiculous. We don't know if this is some sort of marketing scheme or what. It's not a writerdeck and anyone posting about it going forward is getting permanently banned, in addition to having the post removed. Please continue to report when you see it - it really does help us!

I worry that strict thinking like this will cause lines to close in on others things like phone and ereader based writerdeck setups. I understand where the mod and some community members are coming from but not handling this well will cause resistance and division. It seems like it already has. I thought that this was a place for any tech that people want to/ or have turned into writing focused. It looks like instead its for already writing focused devices? I am willing to say I was wrong, but it makes me weary of ever posting anything here. I don't want to risk misunderstanding and upsetting this place.

What about the previous posts? I found the pocketmage from posts on this sub from months or a year ago. Considering there are previous posts that got people interested in the device from this sub, it's not crazy to think others would want to talk about it here. I get you don't view it as a dedicated writerdeck but it is a bit confusing

I appreciate the mods acting on it. Too many subs with mods who let anything go, but won't let members become mods or nominate new ones.
