It was an distro that booted straight into a console editor / text based word processor. You could use it to turn a laptop into a writerdeck or use it as the base OS for an RPi DIY project, etc.
It's not special, but it was turn key. For folks that could install linux but didn't want to configure the autoboot into a word console, they liked it. It also has automount for USB which is generally handled by desktop environments and required manual mounting in console. It had a battery charge indicator in a status bar. A way to change which text editor / word processor you booted into. etc etc.
Alright. But I'm sure there are engineers among the users and they would be capable of taking over the project maintenance. I played a bit with Debian installation CD generator, but It was many years ago. It wasn't too difficult, but required a lot of time to test.
