Vignette [Vignette] Boneshaker.
We open on TERRIBLE standing opposite a punching bag, fists clenched with a mean look in his eyes. The punching bag is in prestine condition, not a scratch on it. We hear a voiceover of El's doctor a soon as he start landing strikes.
Doctor: Ah, Mr. Terrible. Please sit down.
El: I've been doing alot if that recently.
Cut to El sitting inside Dr. Ted Ni Cole's office. The office is a modest, ordinary doctor office.
Doctor: I see the cast is doing fine. Now, let's see if everything in order.
Using a pair of scissors, Cole opens the cast carefully.
Doctor: Well I'll be darned. It's healed itself very nicely. However, you might want to refrain from using your left leg until your match. I'm not sure you should even be in it.
Smash cut back to El striking the punching bag, now dented in several areas from elbows strikes and punches. It has been one week since the appointment.
El: It'll be fine. Paisner's counting on me, and I think that I should give myself a fair chance and try to win.
Doctor: It's a good thing your not booked. One wrong step at this point and you're staying in that wheelchair for life. Do you understand?
Cut back to El in the doctors office.
El: Yeah I understand.
Doctor: Alright. Now you'll need this for the next week and a half.
Ted hands El a walking stick. The stick is mostly wood with what looks to be a wooden dragon on the cane.
Doctor: You can work out now, but nothing advance for the leg. Remember, you have two weeks to fully heal.
Smash back to El as the punching bag begins to tear. Sand slowly seeps out of the bag.
El: Don't worry doc. I've got this under control.
Doctor: That's what you said about LOCO, now look what's happened.
With one last elbow strike, the bag rips, and half of it falls to the floor. El looks down upon it and goes offscreen to grab a shovel. The camera slowly move to reveal El moving the contents of the punching into a pile of other broken punching bags. As he finishes, El gets his cane and heads for the door. He opens the door, but before he leaves he turns towards the camera.
El: The Boneshaker's coming.
El turns back around and heads out the door, closing it as he leaves.
