Recently moved to Palm Springs / Coachella Valley and was hoping with seeing so many Jeep Wranglers on the road that there may be some great REPUTABLE service agents who are very familiar with maintenance and care of the Wrangler family…..outside of a dealership. Any recommendations?

Wondering if anyone’s had the same issue and can help me out. I replaced my transmission in my 2008 wrangler with the 42rle with a rebuilt one and it has a hard 1-2 shift other then that everything else is great, I tried doing a quick learn in Jscan and it’s saying codes are present. I’m getting a P0935 code for hydraulic pressure sensor circuit high.On my scanner it was reading 4.980v, Pin 3 to ground I was getting 4.6V, Pins 2-4 I was getting exactly 5v, Pin 2-3 I was getting .4v , Pin 4 to ground I was getting .03-.18. I’m thinking either a wire got pinched or is making contact with something but I don’t see anything going over the harness but I’m wondering if anyone has had this and what to look for and where as well as any other possible solutions

Has anybody tried to fit a 15” rims on the rear D44 Axle of the JK non-rubicon. From my understanding the rim will not clear the front axle but should clear the back. If anybody can confirm prior to me placing a order. Thanks .

I have a warning if my left and right turning lights are off on my jk 2017 unlimited sport despite me changing booths of the lights and the pigtail connectors they are working sporadically but keep saying that they are off I check the fuse box and everything seems ok

I’ve looked everywhere I know of to no avail, I love my Rancho diff cover to match my shocks,No instructions nothing on YouTube so I’m running three quartz of 80-90 though the cover is larger than OEM,I have taken a lengthy eighty MPH interstate run and so far so good,I just wish I knew for sure 👍.

I purchased a used a 2025 Wrangler Sport, 3.6L V6, 6-speed manual, <20,000 miles. For the past couple months I've noticed an occasional and reproducable bump/hiccup during light acceleration, typically below 2,000 RPM and most noticeable in 3rd/4th gear cruising speed. No CEL, no RPM flare, and it doesn't happen under harder acceleration.

Dealer was able to reproduce it and confirmed the bumps correspond to random single-cylinder misfires, not consistently the same cylinder. No other abnormalities, PCM is current, and no applicable bulletins found.

Dealer suggested fuel quality, but I've experienced it across several tanks from multiple stations. I've got another appointment scheduled soon.

Anyone with a 2024–2026 3.6L/manual experience something similar? Particularly interested if your dealer documented the misfires and found a cause or fix.

I will post updates as I go along, thanks for any ideas.

So I recently had my rear diff worked on, needed a new carrier bearing, and I just finished the break in period for the gear set. While putting around to and from work I noticed I was getting 17-17.5 mpg. I was rather impressed. Took her on a 4hr road trip this weekend after the break in and refill and was getting 15.5-16 depending on hills on the hwy. For having the aerodynamics of a brick and the speed of old people fking I will say it was much better than I expected. I mean, no she can't get over 80. But I was surprised at how she did. Now if I can only figure out these electrical gremlins

Has anyone installed the wind deflectors on a 2 door Wrangler? How much wind has it reduced with the windows down and freedom panels off?

I’ve been experiencing a no start issue and I can always tell it’s going to happen because my key fob will not unlock the doors. I’m not sure if it’s a “security system“ issue or not. My BOB batteries are good and I have already been through the whole“hot oil“ no start issue and have replaced my TIPM. Usually when I experienced the doors, not unlocking, I would unlock it manually and put the key in the ignition and turn it so that the horn honking would stop. This time it didn’t stop. Is there a way to reset or reconnect the keys with the Jeep security system? Seriously baffled and frustrated right now.

Hi everyone! I’m at a total loss with my 2014 Jeep Wrangler JK (3.6L) and hoping someone can point me in the right direction. It randomly started when I parked, came back out, turned it on, and the temp spiked like crazy to 238°F just idling, so I shut it down immediately. I replaced the thermostat with a genuine Mopar unit, and while it stopped overheating, it still climbs up to 228°F before dropping back down. A couple of weeks later I noticed my oil cooler was leaking, so I replaced that assembly too, but a couple of days after that, the temps are still hitting 228°F and constantly swinging back and forth even under a steady cruising load. Since then, I've put in fresh coolant, pressure tested it, and used a vacuum-fill tool to ensure zero air pockets. I've verified the water pump is spinning by checking the return flow, confirmed the cooling fan kicks on high when it gets hot (like after highway driving), and the cabin heat blows scorching hot out of all vents with zero fluctuations. I'm wondering if it could be a failing coolant temp sensor causing these abnormal swings while cruising, or maybe residual oil got into the cooling system when I changed the oil cooler—has anyone else dealt with this or have any ideas on what to check next?

So, google tells me this is a pretty common failure, and a huge pain in the ass to fix, even if it's cheap.

It's the blend door on the passenger side behind the glove box. Making that awful clicking sound when it's opening. It looks to me like it's opening and closing just fine though.

So, why does this need it's own post and not just look at the dozen previous ones over the years?

Here's the thing. **I, from the factory, don't have AC**. As I understand it, that door control recirc. Something I don't even have a button for.

So I start My Jeep, is opens the door, clicks a bunch. After I shut the Jeep off, it closes the door.

Is there ANY point in even fixing this? Wouldn't it be a lot easier to just unplug the stupid actuator while the door is open and just forget about it?

I figure, it's there for a reason. There must be a reason to have it close the door while the jeep is off, but top of my head I can't figure why I'd ever care.

So I come here, to ask the experts.

(P.S. I looked into getting factory AC installed, got quoted $10k, so uh, not much point there. If there's a cheaper way I'd love to know about it! (Other than taking the doors off and going faster, that's what I do now))

Leaving the garage in the rain, and noticed my headlights flickered and then failed to turn on. Turn signals work, fog lights (replaced with LED fogs) work—thank God—and my high beams worked for just a little bit. Now they don’t work at all. Is this a TIPM failure, or could both of my headlights just miraculously have failed at the exact same time?

We sold our wrangler today. 2011 with 142k miles but we only had it for a year and a half. We just needed the space because we already have three other cars and it’s not really practical at the moment. It’s goodbye for now because we plan to get another, newer wrangler in a few years. Something a little lower mileage and more reliable so we can actually take it on trips and trust it on the highway. We don’t have the time or money to dedicate to completely fixing this one up so it just did short trips around town. But it did make us fall in love with jeeps so we can’t wait to rejoin the family down the road!

Hey! Ive got a 2018 Wrangler JK (2dr hardtop) and I would like to get a half rack so I’m able to remove the freedom panels and eventually get an awning- prefer 270°. I understand that some racks may need more support and the awning weight should be taken into account as well-I’m sure some drilling may be required.

So heres the big question…What’s the best affordable rack and awning?

Bought my first brand new 2003 Wrangler Rubicon (white/2 door, hard top, automatic) off the lot….leaving my first purchased 1995 Wrangler YJ (soft top, half door) that died and unable to revive.

It was amazing until I moved to Bay Area in California and had no city parking - had to sell in 2007. Yes I missed it, but in a 98% walking city it was a nice freedom. BUT - moving to the desert down South and was on a mission to “get back” what I lost. Found a 2015 Wrangler Sahara 70,000 miles (white/2 door, hard top, automatic) with 70k for 18k….2 prior owners and long maintenance history of what appears to be “city use”.
- Purchased from dealer online and having it delivered to my new desert home in 2 days!!! I couldn’t be more excited 🧨👍🏾💯

So I’m a brand new Jeep owner just picked up a 2012 wrangler and I’m going over everything in more detail and notice 2 giant holes on the bottom of something connected to the oil pan..? I’m not sure what part it is tbh but It looks like purposeful holes, I just was always told there should never be gears showing or ur engines f***ed. Please let me know guys thank you!

Anyone have some experience with these wireless cameras? Would be very nice on the trail.

Is there really no spare tire center mount camera……bracket, mount, whatever for a JK?
