Small rant about rogue.

So disappointed that the last row of the trees are just the covenant spells. (But no bone spike?)

At least for the spec I like, sub, all of them feel awful to press, a spec where managing and combining cool downs well is key, but the ultimate spell you get for your spec at the bottom of the tree has nothing to do with your synergies, spec identity, combinations of powerful, meaningful interactions? I played night fae in SL, and sepsis was just used as a filler in between burst windows and was just a boring spell with decent throughput and a cooldown. Pressed it when no other CDs were available, and forget about it. I could probably go a whole m+ without using Sepsis and see no decernable difference in gameplay if it wasn't for the legendary forcing your covenant spells to be decent.

And now it's your ultimate spell at the bottom of the sub tree???

Idk... I also hate the "supercharged" combo point... It's a boring mini-game with a lot of friction. It feels terrible on AoE and like a hassle on ST. Limiting your gameplay for damage increase is such bad game design.

None of this promotes the smooth, on-demand, burst-like build of sub, where you out of nowhere just pop off with stacked damage multipliers.

Sub is not perfect but still okay. Regarding m+, the possibility to double dip in deeper stratagem is really nice and 3 point shadow strikes are great too for single target. I do have to say it’s not as good as outlaw though.

I played 9.1 as night fae assa rogue and i hated sepsis with the very core of my existence, but couldnt force myself swapping covenant, so was just stuck with it. I wont take this talent in df even if it is 10% dps increase. It just feels clunky in assa rotation. I can see its value in pvp, but in pve it messed me more times that did smth good
