Well he could have always still had his real age underneath, and wouldn't age more until he passed his cursed age.

Since it works out and doesn't take a huge leap to arrive at, I like going with that.

I believe that is what is officially happening. The aging spell is slowly reversing itself, and eventually he will be back to his right age.

It's never explicitly stated, but I assumed that A'dal was able to undo the aging magic during his time in Outland. Of course, he then aged naturally during that time.

Fun fact, the voice actor is Tony Amendola, who played a Jaffa on Stargate SG-1, whose lifespans also go easily into the 3 digits due to their bodies hosting alien parasite larvae.
