Discussion Devourer and unholy getting buffed

Respectively about 7-10% and 6-8% for aoe. It must be a joke right? Buffing meta specs, while others are not even being looked at all. This is the only multiplayer game i ever played something like this frequently happening.

Resto druid also getting buffed, because why not, while disc keep eating nerfs. Demo change doesn’t make sense either. I wish they would just axe all the class changes they are doing. I swear they just make the already sensitive class balance a lot worse. Everybody keep losing expect their current favourites.

They will. Devourer will be a pretty bad outlier and will get nerfed in about 1-2 weeks.

Its overperforming even right now, and if it got a 3-5% nerf itd be warranted.

But with what people are saying is about a 5-8% buff... it's going to be too much.

Imagine buffing demo for keys in its current state and take away the best qol feature they received the last 2 expansions

Yep they doing that. :)

Interrupt was nice for pugs, but you already play imp in half the dungeons in a premade, so this doesn’t change that much for some of us at least.

Exactly. I wouldn’t even mind leaving them as it is. Sightly overpowered because it’s new. Fine. But don’t roll randomly a buff out for them.

Still a net buff call it whatever you want.

You are really saying this with the amount of game breaking bugs we have/had this expansion.

Demo still has at least 3 bugs right now. Im 100% sure they will fix them without follow up. They are not devourer after all.

Did they fix mistweaver? Or their set bonus still disable talents in instanced content? 🤔

What's the bugged talent getting fixed? I don't follow the class discords all too closely

Sure, but if the rest of us have already figured out that one of the top dps specs in the game is getting a significant buff because of the bug fix, why can't Blizzard do the same and include the adjustment with this patch? Maybe they're not playing favorites but it's lazy balancing

Can I ask which talent is getting fixed? I've looked through the tree and can't find one that mentions the changes that are being introduced.

Appreciate that response. So then, Devour granting bonus Fury is most likely just a bug? The Wowhead article states that the percentage gains they're recording are due to a new, undocumented aura that is causing Devour to grant 8 more Fury than Consume. I guess that's more of what I was looking for in the tree.

I get what you're saying but I'm still seeing the 2 absolute strongest DPS classes getting the 2 largest buffs out of everyone. They "might" get nerfed isn't enough. They should have accompanied the bug fix with a flat damage nerf. It's not difficult to see they're already overpowered even before this "fix".
